Alice Balossi's recipes inspired by Campo dei Fiori quality and taste. Today tarte tatin with Tropea onions and goat cheese!
The food blogger Alice Balossi (dessert specialist but a great cook even when it comes to savory dishes!) was inspired by the Campo dei Fiori's Burro Formato Casalingo for the creation of tasty recipes in which butter is the protagonist or a precious ally for preparations.
This is the case of the recipe for tarte tatin with Tropea red onions and goat cheese, in which butter is a fundamental ingredient for preparing brisé pastry. Obviously used cold from the fridge!
For the brisé pastry:
Flour: 220 g
Burro Formato Casalingo: 100 g
Water: 40 g
Salt: as required
For the stuffing:
Tropea onions: 400 g
Thyme: 1 sprig
Burro Formato Casalingo: 1 spoon
Sugar: 2 spoons
Goat cheese: 150 g
