Campo dei Fiori Street Food sets out on its tour from the Marca tradeshow in Bologna
The ‘Street Food Breakfast’ is born: the tradition and quality of Campo dei Fiori and Campo dei Fiori – FOO’D products, with Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani, sets off on a tour of Italy.
The Campo dei Fiori ‘Street Breakfast’ Food Truck, which has been completely fitted out to serve Italian-style breakfasts made with Campo dei Fiori products, sets off from Marca 2017, the annual Bologna tradeshow and conference dedicated to the world of private label distributors.
The Campo dei Fiori Food Truck made its debut proposing a series of high quality, traditional breakfasts. The key protagonist was classic bread with Burro Campo dei Fiori - FOO’D butter, a churned full cream milk butter, selected by Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani and Campo dei Fiori. Thanks to the excellence of the raw materials and the special production method, the organoleptic properties of the cream give the butter a rich yet balanced flavour, which is particularly enhanced when eaten raw. Campo dei Fiori’s Italian breakfast was also served with Campo dei Fiori’s, freshly-squeezed Organic Sicilian Blood Orange juice: a genuine product in every way, because it’s been produced exclusively with fruits grown on certified Sicilian, organic farms and squeezed and packaged using a process that keeps the properties of the juice intact.
“The aim of ‘Street Food Breakfast’ is to propose quality and genuineness as a fundamental value in our daily eating habits”, states Giorgio Monaco, Commercial Director of Campo dei Fiori. “We like the idea of bringing these values to the street, reaching as many people from all walks life as possible, with the ambitious idea of reclaiming a space and tradition that is often overlooked and yet really important for our health, developing the concept of quality nutrition right from early infancy”.
The design of the Campo dei Fiori Food Truck, also conveys the values of simplicity, professionalism and pragmatism, which have always been the founding principles of the company. The aim is to increase contact with passers-by at events, conferences and tradeshows and people who are about and about in the city, near the offices, shopping centres and other highly frequented public spaces. The Food Truck can also act as a support for promotional initiatives launched across the territory with the Italian distribution chains.
